12/3/2001-La Conner & Mount Vernon (~80 miles of rural highways and roads). Christmas shopping provided the perfect excuse to go out for a drive. The Passat likes to run and we found ourselves exceeding the speed limit whenever we didn't have another car in front of us. It rides so nice you don't notice the speed. At the moment we are getting ~ 28 miles per gallon.
